eye for an eye, eye for a heart

The "Lansad 2" photo exhibit reminds me of how superior mother nature really is.

While as for the "Mindanao war"photo exhibit, it encouraged me and opened my eyes not only to reality but also to newly felt emotions, and it also flew me into someone else's situation that i might hardly survive.

Thoughts fall into our minds. We can hardly imagine how sometimes mother nature could be so tender but how she could also possibly be so cruel on another time. Photographers, as i was puzzled, really don't mean jokes in their businesses. Now, i feel like i also want to be honored like them.

Photos taken during the Mindanao war surely gave me an apparent sympathy to the innocent people involved.

my MDG

Among the Millennium Development Goals discussed so far, for me, goal 1 should be given the most attention first as for now. It is because I believe that ending hunger and poverty will then make the other 7 goals (Universal Education, Gender Equity, Child Health, Maternal Health, Combat HIV/AIDS, Environmental Sustainability, Global Partnership) eventually develop too.

I feel more sympathetic to the people especially the children who suffer hunger and experience too much poverty than anything else. Honestly, after seeing clips and videos about babies and kids affected of the poverty spreading in the world, you would think you felt your heart twisted strongly.

'Development' in this goal (eradicate extreme poverty and hunger) will take time. But with this goal developed, education can then be easily attained, also with the equality among fellowmen, solutions to health problems and even environmental issues.

Ideas into reality, that's how you define it.

Development, for me, is the progress or a change for the sake of the betterment of a certain thing that is on focus. It is the product of developing from the state of simplicity to more advanced and onwards. For me, this development starts from an idea into reality.
