COMMUNITY MAPPING, based on my experience, is a piece of cake.Nah! Just kidding.
We took more than two attempts just to observe our areas on foot, not mentioning the heat of the sun. With a paper and a pen, we manually plotted from
From the past exercises, I thought this task would be so easy. Yet after we set on foot, I said to my self “this will be a bloody battle”. Community mapping as the firststep to development deserves a lot of patience because it is systematic, manual yet effective non-verbal way of finding out how we view a particular area.

The importance of relating communication, through which individuals incorporate it into their lives and day-to-day activities, was basically clear. The purpose of the development of communication through media is to affect the individuals' modes of experiencing the best of the world and their ways of relating to themselves and others.
Of course, social interaction was not restricted to those forms of mediated communication which became increasingly common. With succession of media institutions based on print, and eventually on electronic forms of codification and transmission, it became possible for more and more individuals to acquire information through mediated forms of interaction. These were increasingly important as a success of informing individuals about events that took place in distant locales and as a way of creating, reproducing, and transmitting the symbolic content of tradition.
